SpyDealer Android malware - Millions of devices are effected ~ Android Knowledge

Recently, there are lots of cases arrived of virus & malware attacks on Android. The latest news is about a new malware discovery called SpyDealer. Reports says that this malware is able to steal data from more than 40 apps that includes Facebook, whatsapp, Skype & more.

The SpyDealer malware is mostly effective only on devices running on older Android versions. The malware is mainly effects between Android 2.2 cupcake and Android 4.4 KitKat. Over millions of devices are effected by the malware. The malware is able to steal data from more than 40 apps that includes Facebook, whatsapp, Skype, Telephone, Wechat, Line, Viber, Tango & more.

After discovery this malware Google created a protection through Google Play Protect to save from this malware. Researchers also says that this malware is able to steal users information that includes photos, videos, phone numbers, messages, call logs & locations also. The malware also able to access both back & front camera, take screenshots etc. So, if you using a Android phone running on Android 4.4 KitKat or lower version then try to keep yourself safe, don't download apps from unknown sources.
