Over 36.5 million users are infected by 'Judy'- All about this

This a very scary news if you found that your Android device is infected by a virus. But, the recently a news came that over 36.5 million devices are infected by 'Judy'. 'Judy' is a Android based malware that spading rapidly. One major reason for that the malware is rapidly increasing is that it jumped into the Google's own security feature called 'bouncer'. Almost a dozen apps had the infected bug. But, Google consistently removed most of them. But, one off those app is stayed hidden for one year before it was discovered by Google's Security net.
The news says that, the malware Judy attacked most of the devices in form of simple fashion and cooking games. Users went unnoticed the malware because the infected payload was downloaded externally from a non-Google server, when you installed the app. Once installed, the software used the infected device to click on certain Google Ads to increase the revenue of the attacker.
The checkpoint blog stated, "The malware, dubbed "Judy" is an auto clicking adware was founded on  41 apps developed by an Korean Company. The malware uses infected devices to generate large amount of fraudulent clicks on advertisements, generating revenues for the perpetrators behind it."
Considering theat there are loopholes in Google's operating system, users should be careful with there own downloads from the Play store.
The Security firm has launched a list of applications that had been infected by the malware. Click here for check the list and if you have installed one of them then backup your all essential data and uninstall the app. The security firm confirmed that the spread of 'Judy' is still not confirmed as the 'Judy' has an list of extensive list of applications which hasn't entirely covered in checkpoint's analysis.Google Play Store has taken down most of concerned applications which were published under korean developer Enistudio. However, the malware was also found in some other devalopers.
The app may infacted more than 36.5 millions devices, there is no evidence of any data compromised on the infected devices. So, next time whne you downlaod a app becareful and keep your data backup in case you get any problem.
