Android O - automatically turn on WiFi when near a saved network

On the first Android O developer preview, we saw the feature of automatically turning on WiFi when you near a saved network. But, this feature is not working all the time and we have to manually turn it on.
Now, on this second developer preview of Android O, this feature is changed. We can turn it on by going into network and Internet > WiFi >WiFi preferences and here you can see the option "Turn on WiFi automatically". When this option is enabled, Android O will automatically turn on WiFi and connect to the previously saved network as soon as you get in its range.
Now, what are the benefits of this feature, for example, when you get home or office, you won't have to turn on the display to connect to the WiFi network, it will automatically connect you. This feature is may helpful for those who use cellular data when out and then forget to turn on WiFi when they get home or office. Then this feature connects to WiFi and saves your cellular data.
This is one feature of Android O, more features will arrive very soon. What do think about Android O, comment your opinion?
