Whatsapp will continue to support Android 2.3 until 2020

Last year, whatsapp announced that it was ending support for some old Android and IOS devices, like IOS 6 and Android 2.2 and below. But, the latest update come form whastapp is now the Android 2.3.7 and older will able to use whatsapp until February 1, 2020. It is a good news for old android users. But still it is not a confirm that Android 2.1 and 2.2 will get the support or not. Gingerbread users are able to use whatsapp for three years more.
This not going to became a big issue, because currently there are only 0.1-1.2% devices are running on old Android versions. So, if you using an old Android device then you are able to use this for few more years. For download whatsapp click the link given below.
