At Google I/O 2017 Google announced the Android O second developers preview. Now, the developers preview 3 released with some new features. On the third developers preview you will get notification about the apps running in background.
It's a good feature that let you know the apps running in background. When you get notification you can tap on that & then you see a list of apps that running, tap on an app & you will go to the app info page. From there you can force stop the app. But, this feature is may annoying because it never goes away.
