Sometimes media files which means photos, musics & videos on our device not showing on any app. The files are available on your device but not detected by any apps. In this post I'll tell you the reasons, precautions & fix for this problem.
Reasons :-
1. Sometimes if you stored too many files on your SD card then your device media scanner getting this kind of problem.
2. If you connect your device with virus affected PC, then this problem can happen.
3. Advance Android user can face this problem for some mistakes.
4. If you store unsupported files on your device storage then this problem can happen.
Precautions :-
1. Try to keep a decent amount of free space on your phone or SD card. Try to keep at least 15% free storage.
2. Don't connect with any PC that effected by virus.
3. Always be careful when you are a Advance Android user. When you doing any advanced work be careful.
4. Don't keep any unsupported files like ".exe",".bat" etc.
Fixes :-

2. Try to install VLC Player. Yes, it may sounds odd, but this app works for me. Just install VLC Player & open the app, now when you open the app it's start scanning your media & for that your media scanner may be fixed.

3. If above methods are not working try to reboot to safe mode, this may can fix the problem.
4. If any above methods not work then try to factory reset you device.
